Papier Mache is a delicate decorative art . It was introduced in the C15 by a Kashmiri Prince and was highly favoured by Mughal emperors at the time. The tradition continues today with each piece being hand crafted and then hand painted. Intricate decorations incorporate vivid colours, flowers and birds with a strong Persian flavour

These objects are not only beautifully decorated but are surprisingly light and strong, the coating lacquer protects them from water damage and gives them extra durability – ideal for decorations.
